Maintenance Supervisor
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for insuring that the physical aspects of the community meet the Company’s established standards for safety, appearance, and operation within the budgeted financial goals. Primary responsibilities include the hands-on maintenance of the community, including overall inspection, repair and general maintenance of apartments and other interior/exterior areas to include swimming pools and other amenities. The maintenanc supervisore must also inspect vacant apartments to insure a superior market-ready status. Act as a team leader of maintenance staff; delegating, supervising and directing the work of the department, and purchase materials, supplies and services within budget guidelines.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A minimum of three years' verifiable hands-on maintenance experience in areas such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC is necessary. Supervisory experience is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required. The candidate must also be HVAC/CFC certified.
