Residential Assistant Manager
The Assistant Property Manager serves as the individual responsible for the property in the absence of the Property Manager. This role acts as a liaison between the Property Manager, the community, staff and residents. He or she maintains awareness of local market conditions and trends and contributes ideas to the property manager for marketing the property and improving resident satisfaction. In addition, this team member maintains accurate resident records, updates all rents, deposits, and application fees received from residents on a daily basis, and issues appropriate notices such as late payment notices, eviction notices, and returned check memos when necessary, depositing all rent daily.
The Assistant Property Manager must be familiar with Brookside Properties’ Policies and Procedures as well as property-specific goals. They help to ensure resident satisfaction and resident retention, interface with residents to address concerns, negotiate lease renewals, greet prospective residents and lease apartments in the absence of a
leasing agent.
Qualified candidates must be able to multi-task and manage time effectively. A minimun of two years' leasing/sales and property management experience is required. RentRoll and/or OneSite experience is preferred. Computer literacy is a must.
