Residential Property Manager
The Property Manager is responsible for achieving the financial and operational goals established for the community. Under the direction of the Regional Manager, he or she administers and maintains all phases of apartment community operations in accordance with the policies and procedures outlined in the Brookside Policy and Procedures Manual. This position is also accountable for insuring the optimum operational and financial performance of the community, including budget control, personnel, marketing and leasing, collections, resident services, maintenance, revenue enhancing and other capital improvements, contracted services, administration and reporting, and safety and legal compliance.
The Property Manager directly supervises the Maintenance Supervisor, Assistant Manager, and all leasing team members, oversees the management of the maintenance associates and should have excellent skills in recruiting, hiring, training, and managing associates. The ideal candidate will have exceptional skills in resident relations and resolving resident issues. A minimum of three years' residential property management experience including supervisory responsibilities is required. Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills are necessary. RentRoll and/or OneSite experience is preferred. An excellent understanding of applicable Fair Housing laws and standards is required.
